Finishing The Project
Once you are satisfied with the smoothness of the pieces, it’s time to put the project together. Place the pieces together on a backer board. When ready, begin gluing each piece at random. A few drops of glue on each piece are all you need. Glue guns and clamps may be helpful in holding the pieces in place.
Finishing the wood may be done in various ways. I prefer to use polyurethane spray or wiping gels. Wiping gels are best applied before gluing the project. Determine what works best for you.
